Once upon a time there was a group of performers called Cimarron Circuit Opera Company, who traveled far and wide to schools like yours and to make children laugh.  Thirty-two years have gone by and we are still having lots of fun telling stories through music.  One of the missions of Cimarron Circuit Opera Company is to spread music and cultural opportunities to Oklahoma's young ones.  The following shows are available to community and school groups.  These delightful shows were written by well known children's opera composer, Seymour Barab.  All shows are suitable for K - 5 audiences with a running time of 1 hour.  To bring CCOC to your function or event, please contact the Cimarron Circuit office at 405-364-8962.

Special funding is available to underprivileged schools via the Oklahoma Arts Council.  Contact them for requirements and more information.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

"Mirror, mirror, on the wall... "
This "opera"tunity partners your selected students with our singers as well as giving a local a shot at portraying the voice of the mirror.  You only need to provide the seven dwarfs & the voice of the mirror.  Complete with costumes and set, this production follows Snow White as she ventures into the mysterious forest, meets the dwarfs & is rescued by the charming Prince.

“Little Red Riding Hood”

Little Red Riding Hood

CCOC encores the highly successful musical version of this well-known children's fable.  This one-act musical comedy will enchant young audiences with the zany & fast-paced antics of the Wolf, Grandma & Little Red Riding Hood.

The Toy Shop

Peering inside the toy shop, we discover the Toymaker and his life-like dolls, Paul and Pauline.  What neither of them knows is that they are being spied upon by the wicked Mr. Blunder who is plotting to steal them to put into his show! Watch to see which surprise character saves the day!!
